Ali Kone

Tri-lingual (English, French, Bambara) Currently resides in the United States in south New Jersey. He is a Software technical lead and architect working for Bentley Systems in Pennsylvania in the United States. He holds a BS in Electrical Engineering with minor in Computer Science.
He worked as a software engineer in a variety of industries such as Defense, Education, Finance, E-commerce, Software using many different programming styles and programming languages including Microsoft and Oracle Java technologies. He specializes in software architecture, development environments, model and behavior driven development,and agile development processes like Scrum and Extreme Programming.

Ali is one of the co-founders of Coders4Africa.

Kwame Andah

Tri-lingual (French, Twi and English) professional with over 10 years of experience serving as operations liaison between technical and non-technical teams with individuals within the United States and abroad. He attended boarding schools in Ghana, Cote D'Ivoire, France, UK, Egypt, Malta. He attended PRESEC in Legon, Ghana and holds a BS in Management of Information Systems from Saint Joseph's University and a MS in Internet Marketing from Full Sail University.
With over 10 years of experience working in the higher education software industry with as a Technical/Systems Analyst and Project Manager, Kwame possess strong interpersonal communication, negotiation and project management skills. In his spare time, he explores the outdoors with his 8 year old son Nile, and is an avid listener of Ghanaian high-life and hip-life music.

Kwame is one of the co-founders of Coders4Africa.

Ibrahim Cisse
Tri-lingual (English, French, Bambara). Currently resides in the United States in Maryland. He is a Software Engineer with over 10+ year in software engineering and enterprise application development.
He holds a BS Manufacturing Engineering and a MS Electrical Engineering with concentration in Software Engineering. He has extensive experience in various industries: Retail, Money Transfer Software. Technology he mostly used: Microsoft .NET, JAVA, ORM, OOP, N-tier Architecture, Open source.
Ibrahim is one of the co-founders of Coders4Africa and currently holds a position as an Application Manager, Senior Web Designer for IT Firm in Rockville Maryland.
Amadou Daffe
Tri-lingual (English, French, Wolof). Currently resides in the United States in south New Jersey. He is a Software Engineer/Architect with over 9+ year in software engineering and enterprise application development. He holds a BS in Computer Science and a MS in Management Information Systems.
He has extensive experience in various industries: Financial, Retail, Software and Legal. Technology he mostly used: Microsoft .NET, JAVA, ORM, NHibernate, OOP, SOA, N-tier Architecture, Open source technologies.
Amadou is one of the co-founders of Coders4Africa and currently holds a position as an Enterprise Application Architect at one of the largest Legal firm in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Almoustapha Cisse
ri-lingual (English, French, Jerma). Currently resides in the United States in North Maryland. He is a SharePoint Architect with over 10+ year in Systems and Application Engineering and Technology Training. He holds a BS Computer Information Systems, Graduate Certificate in Information Technology and a MS in Information Management (Magna Cum Laude). He also holds the following certifications: MSTS (SharePoint), MCP, CTT+, MOS
He has extensive experience in various industries: IT Training, IT Staffing, Airline. Technology he mostly used: SharePoint, SQL Server, SSRS, Project Server, Microsoft .NET, VMware, Open source.
Almoustapha is one of the co-founders of Coders4Africa and currently holds a position as a Systems Engineer/SharePoint Architect at Airline Tariff Publishing (ATPCO), Dulles Virginia.

Vincent Muller

Polyglot journalist (English, French, Wolof and Spanish), he currently lives in Toronto, Canada’s economic capital.
Vincent lived and worked on three continents, including Africa (Senegal), and also has extensive experience in the field of Communication and Management. Particularly interested in issues related to economics, politics, culture and development in Africa, he has an excellent knowledge of the Western part of the continent where he travels frequently.
He holds a B.A in Public Relations and Communications, a B.A and a Masters in Political Science from Universities in France and Canada.

Vincent is the Communications Manager Coders4Africa and soon the Program Manager Coders4Africa Canada.

Léger Djiba

Polyglot (English, French, wolof, Diola), he currently lives in Dakar, Senegal.
Léger holds a BTS and a DIT in Software Engineering. He is a Software Engineer with 6+ years of experience in Software engineering and enterprise applications development. He is currently General Manager of the Arobase International a Senegalese Software company.
He has extensive experience in various sectors: Biometrics, e-commerce and develop in technologies such as: Microsoft. NET, JAVA, N-tier architecture, UML, open source technologies. He started developing in ANDROID 2009.

He is the current Program Manager Coder4Africa Senegal.

Prince Omari Nyarko

Bi-lingual (English, Twi). Currently resides in Ghana in Greater Accra. He is an Oracle Database Administrator/Programmer with 4 years experience in this field. He holds a BA in Computer Science and Mathematics from University of Ghana, Legon. In addition to this he is certified by Oracle as a Database SQL Expert and also certified as an associate fellow of Oracle (OCA).
Prince currently holds a position as a Database Administrator at Integrators b2b. He has experience in various industries: Financial, Transport and Software development.Technology he mostly used: Oracle Database10g, Oracle Application Express, MySQL 5.0, Oracle Application Development Framework(ADF) and PL/SQL.

Prince is the Coders4Africa Event Coordinator & communication manager for the Ghana team.

Kwamena Appiah-Kubi

Speak English and local Ghanaian language, he currently lives in Kumasi, Ghana.
Mozilla Ghana Rep, Java and open source fun. I believe technology is a key driver for development in Africa. A recent (2010) Computer Science graduate of KNUST, Ghana. An up and coming Software Engineer with an eye on mobile and web based applications. Technologies mostly used include: Java, JSF, Android and OOP.

He is the current Technical Manager for Coder4Africa Ghana.

Ransford A. Okpoti

Trilingual (Ga, Twi, and English). Has worked both in the public and the private sector for the Students Loan Trust Fund (SLTF) and GenKey Africa Ltd, respectively. Freelancing is in his blood, and started developing commercially during his undergraduate programme.
He attended Nungua Secondary School (NUNSEC) in Nungua, Ghana and holds a BSc Computer Science degree from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) in Kumasi, Ghana. He is currently the only Zend Certified Engineer (PHP) in Ghana.
A Web Developer mainly working with PHP technologies and an expert database designer. A strong believer that African developers must be seen in tackling the various problems that confronts us, as a people.
Currently the CEO of Cre4ns (pronounced "creations") Lab Ltd, a small start-up venturing into web applications development, based in Accra, Ghana.

He is the current Program Manager for Coder4Africa Ghana.

Mamadou Ngor Diouf

Polygot (French, English(technical), Serer, Wolof)

Graduated in 2006 with a MS in Distributed Information Systems from the University Cheikh Anta Diop (UCAD) in Dakar, Senegal. Also holds a MS in Physics & Chemistry. Mamadou has 4+ years experience in systems development and advanced knowledge in Database Administration with Oracle, Postgres and Mysql.

He Uses the following technology: Java, PHP, Hibernate, spring, UML and Open source platforms. He is currently the Chief Project engineer at a local Senegalese outsourcing company.

He is the current Communication &Technical Manager for Coder4Africa Senegal.

Christelle Scharff

Fluent in French and English, Christelle Scharff has been living in New York City for more than ten years.

She has a PhD in Computer Science (Software Verification) from the Universite Henri Poincare in Nancy, France.

She is an Associate Professor of Computer Science at Pace University in New York City, and taught courses in the US, France, Cambodia, Vietnam and Senegal ranging from theoretical computer science to programming.

She is an expert in global software development and agile methodologies. She is passionate about the potentials of mobile technologies for social changes and founded a project called MobileSenegal in 2009. She is in the process of creating her own startup offering SMS services and developing mobile applications targeting the base of the pyramid.

She is the current Training Manager for Coders4Africa Senegal.

Julia Kibore

Julia Kibore is the Principal Consultant of Marketing Solutions Limited a company offering services in Corporate Event Management and Exposition Sales. Marketing Solutions vision is to develop and grow into the areas of Marketing Strategy, Promotions, Branding, Merchandise, P.R, Communication and Business Development Services.

Julia has a wealth of experience in marketing & management spanning almost 20 years and has worked in the Credit Card, P.R, Publishing and FMCG Industries among others.

She is currently the Chairperson of OWIT (Organisation of Women In International Trade) Nairobi Chapter and was the previous Vice Chairperson of Programs for OWIT. She is also The Secretary of FEWA SACCO (Federation of Women Entrepreneurs Associations SACCO). Julia also sits on the board of KEPSA (Kenya Private Sector Alliance) ‐ Gender Sector Board and FEWA (Federation of Women Entrepreneur Associations).

Julia is a U.S Government Fortune Most Powerful Women Mentee 2011 of Weili Dai Co‐Founder Marvell Technology Group. She is a career and entrepreneurial marketer and holds a 1st Class Honours (Summa cum Laude) Bachelor of Commerce in Marketing Degree.

She is the current Marketing & Communication Manager for Coders4Africa Kenya.

Tom Olewa

Born and brought up in Kenya, currently residing in Maryland US. Bachelors Degree from the University of Nairobi, and Masters Certificate in Oracle Database Management from Johns Hopkins institute of computer studies. I have worked in various industries as an Oracle Database Developer and or Oracle DBA. The Industries include defence contracting, telecomunication and education.

Currently, I am Data warehouse Manager at the University Of Maryland.. Institutional Research, Planning and Assessment. I specialize in Relational Database Management Systems (RDBMS) with specific emphasis in SQL and PLSQL as well as Oracle Database Administration.

Director of Coders4Africa Kenya Chapter.

Mokaya Asuma Joseph

Speaks English, Kiswahili and little of German. He lives in Kenya and works in Strathmore University the Faculty of Information Technology. He is a software developer using the following languages; C++, JAVA, PHP, J2ME, Jquery mobile and ANDROID. He has a fantasy for mobile programming.

Currently, he is working on Kuzabiz a business intelligence tool to measure performance of small businesses in Africa and a health system that will help civilians access cheap and accredited medication from hospitals that are certified by the government.

He is the current Technical Manager for coders for Africa the Kenya chapter.
