In this first edition of the “Technofrique” show, we will be presenting the core Coders4Africa team, talk about the reasons behind the creation of the organization and what motivated and still motivates its founding members.
We will also talk to a number of current Coders4Africa members around the continent in order to foster that intra African communication that is a driving force behing this radio show.
It will be a good way to get a general introduction and discuss our common centers of interests. Don’t miss the show because this will be a good opportunity to hear it as the saying goes from the “horse’s mouth” although we quite wouldn’t say that any C4A member actually looks like a horse. Join us Sunday June 24th 2012 at 1:00PM Eastern US, 17:00GMT and for the first ever Coders4Africa Radio show, hosted by The Technological African himself, Abou Kone.
Coders4Africa Radio is a media offshoot of Coders4Africa and our mission is to create and join current conversations about ICT development on the African continent. Through a weekly mix of news, interviews and listener contributions where the hard and relevant issues are hotly debated, we aim to reflect the true nature of the ICT conversations as they are happening on the ground and allow developers and technologists the continent across to find in our programming their voice and an avenue for uncensored and honest discussion. We currently host a single show “Technofrica“, broadcast live from this site every Weekend at 12:00 GMT where listeners can and are strongly encouraged to participate through Skype, Twitter or Facebook.
