Why Are Some African Countries Missing On The Java 7 Map Launch Places

I am just wondering why there are a lot of African countries missing on this map? I hope it is still a work in progress.

@Ranskills it may be work in progress. However this is the first time, since Oracle took over Sun Java, that they really involve Africa in the Java developers community. That also explains the logistics issues that prevented C4A to hold the launch event on 07/07 in Ghana.
Hopefully we can remedy this for next upcoming activities or events.

Good finding and observation!! I didn't know that they map out the event across the world. I am also not sure who is at the origin of this Java7 map.

@Amadou, the map was mentioned in Oracle's Java Developer Newsletter in the July 2011 issue. It is very refreshing to find a big player in the IT world, like Oracle, taking interest in the African continent, I know this move will payoff in the future.

By the way, I might be mistaken, but I remember seeing a tweet from C4A about a Java Magazine for Developers, is it out? If yes, can anyone send me the digital copy, I have subscribed but haven't gotten any response yet.
