The conference started with the presentation of the representatives of coders4africa. All the participants were excited about the technical sessions that we were going to do. The participants presented themselves, who they are, what they do, and the programming language they use the most. According to what they said, Java was first followed by PHP and C#.

The coders4africa event took place in Strathmore University at the @ilab Africa’s premise.There were 60 participants scheduled to attend the meeting and at some point we felt that the room we were given was small.

The conference started with an open prayer by one of the students and was followed by the introduction of Prince (C4A's Communication/Event Manager) to the audience. Prior to the start of the conference, there had already been much talk about c4a as some of the students were present at our first Tech conference at Kofi Annan Centre AITI.
