I have ideas. Mais je veux me focaliser sur une idee qui va regler un problem africain, en meme temps qu;il soit cool.

Here is an application I think will be beneficial in Africa. It is more on the practical side but I bet it could be cool too.
I call it the eVoyager.

This application will allow a traveler to know everything there is to know about his or her destination. But also once arriving at destination application will revealed more data.
Type of info-data:

    Tells you where you are (Real time country specific info)
        Continent
        Country
        City
        Community
        Neighborhood
    What languages are spoken
        Majority
        Minority
    Population classification
        ethnicity
        sex
        poverty
        GDP
    Currency
        type
        conversion rate
    Food types
    Weather
    Health
        What vaccines to take
    Business deals
        Opportunities
    Airline information
    Traffic Information
    Taxi fare information
    Embassy information

The bulk of the work is creating the backend the database and the business logic layer.

Yes man! Every time I go to Africa I find it hard to get quick information. With an App like that on my Android phone data about my location is truly valuable. This is sort of a quick reference guide for activities in a country, city or neighborhood.

The android version = just showing data
The web version = showing and putting data.
